About the Journal
Białostockie Studia Prawnicze (Bialystok Legal Studies) is an open-access, double blind peer-reviewed quarterly, with an international editorial office and extensive international editorial board, published by the Faculty of Law of the University of Bialystok (Poland). Launched in 2006 and initially circulated in print, from 2021 the journal is published solely electronically, in an effort to preserve the environment.
Białostockie Studia Prawnicze is one of Poland’s top legal journals with an international profile and indexed in databases including Scopus, ERIH+, ICI Journals Master List, NORWEGIAN REGISTER FOR SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS, SERIES AND PUBLISHERS, CEJSH, CEEOL, ANVUR, HeinOnline.
Each volume is dedicated to one specific theme. Articles in Białostockie Studia Prawnicze primarily address traditional questions of legal interest, ranging from civil law, criminal law, administrative law, constitutional law, corporate law, international law, European law to legal theory. Authorship includes both established and early-career legal scholars and practitioners. Articles and commentaries of a comparative nature are published in Polish and English.
We kindly encourage members of the academic community to contribute to our journal. Papers submitted to the forthcoming issues are double-blind peer reviewed by eminent scholars in the particular field under strict supervision of the international editorial board.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the Creative Commons CC BY NC ND 4.0 license. Authors who publish with this journal retain all copyrights and agree to the terms of the above-mentioned CC license.
Open Access Statement
BSP is an Open Access journal. As a result, the entire content of the journal is available free of charge to public users, including institutions. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search the full text of any article, and publish links to it without obtaining permission from the publisher or Author.

Number of points on the Ministry of Education and Science list
Białystok Legal Studies has been included in the List of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences published by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The journal received 140 points on the list.
