About the journal
BSP is a peer reviewed journal.
Each number is dedicated to one specific theme. Articles in BSP primarily address traditional questions of legal interest. The scope of the journal includes all branches of law – civil, criminal, administrative, constitutional, corporate, international, European, as well as legal theory. Authors include both established and early-career legal scholars and practitioners. In addition to research articles, BSP publishes book reviews and commentaries.
Languages of the published articles include but are not limited to: Polish, English, French, Spanish, German and Russian.
Authors are not charged with any publication fees.
Authors transfer copyright to the Publishing House Temida 2 in all fields of exploitation.
BLS is an open access journal. As a result, the entire content of the journal is available free of charge to public users, including institutions. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search the full text of any article, and publish links to it without obtaining permission from the publisher or Author.
The original version of the journal is a print one.
Białystok Legal Studies have been included in the List of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The journal received 20 points on the list.

The journal ” Białostockie Studia Prawnicze ” received funding for the creation of English-language versions of BSP publications from 16.09.2016 to 31.12.2017 under contract 548 / P-DUN / 2016 and 548/1 / P-DUB / 2016 from resources of the Minister of Science and Higher Education dedicated to the popularization of science.
